Sacramento, CA – June 24, 2026 – Next Level Soccer Academy is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Elk Grove Charter Academy, designed to enhance the training and educational opportunities for Next Level players by leveraging Elk Grove Charter Academy's flexible schedule.

Ivan Mirkovic, founder of Next Level Soccer Academy says “At NL Soccer Academy, we believe true champions are built both on the field and in the classroom. Our program is designed to develop well-rounded student-athletes by combining high-performance soccer training with academic support and life skills development. Through discipline, teamwork, and time management, we empower young soccer players to pursue excellence in education while reaching their full potential in soccer. Because a great future starts with a strong foundation — in school, in training, and in character.”

Starting in the 2026-27 school year, Next Level players will train in the morning and attend school in the afternoon, either in-person or through independent study, depending on their grade level. This innovative approach allows student-athletes to balance their rigorous training schedules with their academic commitments seamlessly.

Principal Marc LaVine commented, “EG Charter Academy is excited to partner with Next Level and Coach Ivan. Through the years, Charter Academy has had the benefit to work closely with soccer players, families, and clubs in the Sacramento area. We’ve also been able to work closely with coach Ivan and from our experience he cares deeply about the success of his players both on and off the pitch. From our work with various players and clubs, we have also seen that the only way players are able to reach their goals of playing in college and professionally is by adding high-quality training in addition to their club programs. We are confident that Next Level’s program will help our player reach their goals and we are excited to be their education partner to provide a flexible education pathway that meets the demands of next level athletes.”

As part of this partnership, fee waivers are available for EG Charter Academy students, giving student-athletes the opportunity to receive high-level soccer training at no monthly cost.
